A former prosecutor, Austin Freeley has extensive experience in trial and appellate advocacy. Mr. Freeley has performed as lead trial counsel in well over 100 trials in many District and Superior Courts throughout Massachusetts as well as the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Mr. Freeley has successfully argued numerous appeals before the Appeals Court and the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. Published cases include Commonwealth v. Grant, 418 Mass. 76 (1994)(first-degree murder) and Commonwealth v. Walker, 421 Mass. 90 (1995)(armed robbery); Commonwealth v. Duffy, 36 Mass. App. Ct. 937 (1994)(second-degree murder). Austin Freeley is a graduate of Boston College and Suffolk University Law School. He is a member of the Boston Bar Association and the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers. Austin is a former assistant district attorney and has worked in several law firms before commencing is own practice in 1999. Austin is married with four children and enjoys golfing, fishing and watching his favorite Boston sports teams.
